BY CAR
from Logan Airport
Take the Sumner Tunnel, following the sign to Government Center/Route
93 South. At the end of the tunnel, go straight ahead onto North
Washington Street until the second set of lights. Turn right at
this main intersection onto Commercial Street. Continue down Commercial
Street through 3 sets of lights. You will pass a park and the Coast
Guard station on your left. Just after the 3rd set of lights (at the
intersection with Battery Street) you will see a fork (and "Elite
Boston Landmark Realty" on the corner). Bear right at this
fork onto North Street. Go through the second intersection (with Fleet
Street) and continue 1/4 block. We are at 290 North Street, the third
building on your right. There is a black wrought iron gate in the
entrance.
from South of Boston
Take Route 93 North to Exit 23 to Government Center.
Stay in the righthand lane. At the top of the exit ramp, continue
straight ahead through the stop sign. Turn right up Hanover
Street. Go through your first set of lights at Richmond Street and
continue two more blocks and turn right onto Fleet Street/Tony
DeMarco Way. At your first stop sign, turn right onto North
Street. We are at 290 North Street, the third building on your right.
There is a black wrought iron gate in the entrance.
from West of Boston
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to the end and follow the signs to
Route 93 North. Follow the directions above ("from South
of Boston").
from North of Boston
Take Route 93 South to Exit 24A (Government Center).
Upon exiting the tunnel stay in the left. At the sign to the
North End turn sharp left onto Atlantic Avenue. After passing
through the lights, bear to the right and continue up Atlantic Avenue
with the Christopher Columbus Park on your right. You are now in the
North End. Turn left at the next set of lights onto Richmond
Street and continue straight for the next 4 blocks until you get to
North Street where you can turn right and then bear left up
the cobble-stoned street into North Square. Once in the Square, bear
right and continue past the Sacred Heart Church and continue straight
down Moon Street to the end. Turn right onto Fleet Street/Tony
DeMarco Way and then right again at your first stop sign onto
North Street. We are at 290 North Street, the third building on your
right. There is a black wrought iron gate in the entrance.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
From Logan Airport: Option
1
Take the MBTA ("T") Blue Line
(cost is $2) to the Aquarium subway station. Exit onto Atlantic Avenue
and head North, with the Marriott Hotel and the harbor on your right.
Walk about 1⁄4 mile until you see a Starbucks at 2 Atlantic
Avenue. Turn left onto Fleet Street. Go one block and turn left onto
North Street. We are the third building on the right @ 290 North Street.
(Total walking time from State Street is approximately 10-15 minutes).
Option 2
Take the Water Taxi from Logan Airport to Lewis Wharf.
(Cost is $10 per person one-way.) From the landing dock, take the
red brick walkway along the Pilot House to the Starbucks Coffee shop
(about 250 yards). Cross over Atlantic Avenue at the light and walk
up Fleet Street one block to North Street. Turn left onto North Street.
We are at 290 North Street, the third building on the right. There
is a black wrought iron gate at the entrance. (Total walking time
from the Water Taxi landing dock is approximately 5 minutes or less.)
From South Station
Take the MBTA ("T") Red Line
to the Park Street subway station (cost is $1). Then, change to the
Green Line and take
it to Government Center subway station. Upon exiting the station,
walk straight ahead across City Hall Plaza and down the steps to Congress
Street. Cross over the street and continue down North Street (on your
left) past Quincy Market and under the Central Artery into the North
End. Bear right at North Square (remaining on North Street). We are
at 290 North Street. There is a black wrought iron gate at the entrance.
(Total walking time from the Government Center "T" station
is approximately 10-15 minutes).
